Welcome to the Republic Watchman blog. From here I hope to provide some perspective and commentary on the current state of our beloved country, the United States of America. Until recently, I was never compelled to start or maintain a blog because of the constraints I felt it imposed on content and writing style. But given certain events of the past month (we will cover these in detail) I felt that maybe it was time to give style a rest and just let loose.

- We believe that you can judge a movie by it's trailer. The devil is in the details and the details shine through in trailers for those observant watchers! Whether it's some odd lighting, beautiful cinematography, or just way too much (or too little) nudity the clues are there! We will be watching trailers as they become available and making predictions as to the scores those movies receive on the week (roughly) of their release. Make sure to check back at the end of each month for our prediction results!
